Our Medical Cleaning Process
Our Environmental Services cleaning process ensures there is no cross-contamination and that each patient, exam, procedure, or operating room is properly disinfected each time. Our Environmental Services technician will coordinate with your nursing staff to ensure each room is cleaned properly and ready for the next patient in a timely manner.
- Trained Technicians: Our technicians receive hands-on training, must pass a written exam, and undergo monthly spot inspections to ensure they are following the process exactly.
- Disinfectants: We use hospital-grade disinfectants and will coordinate with your infection control department to determine the exact match for your needs.
- Bloodborne Pathogens: Every member of our EVS team is trained on BBP procedures. We can service any spill and collect your biohazard waste and sharps containers.
- Infectious Disease Control: We will work closely with your infection control specialist to ensure that our processes meet or exceed your expectations. Our team is trained on what to do in each isolation situation and to don and doff the appropriate PPE that matches your protocols. We use only hospital grade disinfectants rated by the EPA for TB, C. diff, COVID-19, and other commonly found microbes.
- Accredited Facilities: If you are certified by the Joint Commission (JCAHO), we will assure that our processes will pass all inspections. We have been very successful in our JCAHO facilities and have not had any negative findings. We can assist you with other metrics, including Press Ganey surveys, or help you create and conduct your own patient feedback process.

Daily Office Cleaning
We provide a thorough office cleaning daily to reduce the incidence of bacteria and viruses in your office or building to help protect the health of employees and visitors:
- We use microfiber towels and mops that pick up viruses and bacteria.
- We use a general-purpose disinfectant that is effective against them. In medical offices or buildings, we use a medical grade disinfectant. (Note: All disinfectants we use are now EPA approved for SARS- CoV-2, the virus that causes COVID-19.)
- We clean the common touch points – desks, conference tables, all restroom surfaces, all breakroom surfaces, door handles, door glass, elevator panels, etc.
- If you’re seeing issues of illness spread in any of your buildings, we can switch to a medical grade disinfectant at a small additional charge.
